The craze for the Mazda Miata MX-5 continues as thousands of enthusiasts each year head down to their local Mazda Miata parts dealer to invest their kid’s college tuition on a few more gadgets and gizmos to make their ride stand out in the crowd. I would tell these individuals to control themselves if I didn’t already have the fever myself. With the number of Mazda Miata parts at your dealer; there really is no limit to the possibilities that hold within your Mazda Miata MX5. But with so many options at your disposal, where should you turn when a Miata project beckons at your heels (or I should rather say wheels).

The easiest Mazda Miata part upgrade you can accomplish in the beginnings of your Mazda Miata’s transformation is a beautiful set of wheels. Wheels to fit your particular Mazda Miata’s personality can be found at most any dealer or internet shop, and often times have the appropriate software to allow you to see what they are going to look like before they are installed. My personal favorite manufacturer is Kosei, from which offer a line of super light racing tires that really look trick on smaller compact sports cars. If you do your shopping smart, you should be able to pick-up a set of quality wheels and tires for under $1,000; but if money is not as issue then upwards of $3,000 is not unheard of.

Of course if you are the lucky owner of a convertible, then swapping the original Mazda Miata convertible top for the sleek hard top is a must. The Mazda Miata hard top gives your baby the appearance of a Beemer Z series at a fraction of the cost. But if you live in the winter climates of the North, then you will thank me later when you find that your car is able to insulate the heat inside your cockpit long enough for you to enjoy it before it disappears out the top of your convertible roof.

Another easy yet sharp upgrade lies within your original Miata headlights. I am talking about the number of available Mazda Miata headlight conversion packages on the aftermarket today. The original Mazda Miata headlights are entirely reasonable, but once you swap them out for the conversions, you will not know how you ever lived without them. Your available viewing area at night seems to double, as well as your hazardous weather driving capabilities. If you are in the mood for a big change to your Miata’s appearance there are four little words that I have for you: Mazda Miata body kit.

The body kits you will find for the Mazda Miata are quite various. I have seen some extreme kits that add an aggressive tuner front end with low extruding body panels that finish with a lowered rear valence with exhaust opening(s). But you can also spring for a nice lowered front air dam with minimal ground effects that will not only give your car a sporty look, but will also help with wind drag at high speeds

Whatever you’re fancies; there are Mazda Miata accessories made just for you. Your Miata MX-5 should be just the way you like it; no excuses!

First introduced in 1966, the Bongo had decent success, in 1978 Ford began to co-produce along side of Mazda with their own version, and popularity would continue to rise, along with a decline in reliability unfortunately. Not to bash Ford, as they are in general a good company; but some of their parts in the past (such as automatic transmissions) were faulty and gave a few Mazda’s an unnecessary bad name. In the UK however, Bongo has never had much of a bad name. Most of its previous versions have been imports from Japan, and today still the UK based customer cannot get enough of the Bongo; used and/or new.

Buying a Mazda Bongo Friendee used was the only way those in the UK would ever see the new 1995 SG platform Mazda Bongo Friendee, as unfortunately for them Japan did not import a single one in the beginning. Now ever since, the 8 passenger Mazda Bongo Camper van has become the most popular Japanese import UK Mazda Bongo in history, and is in fact even more popular than the newer Mazda Bongo’s of the late 90’s. But who can blame their desire when you look at the unique features of these Japanese imported Mazda Bongos (I am talking about the patented Mazda Bongo’s with the aero tops and nifty factory fitted kitchen units).

With the aero top raised the Japanese used Mazda Bongo Friendee can easily sleep two more adults comfortably… and yes I did say comfortably. In the downstairs section, all of the Bongos have fold down seats that easily make-up a double bed. All Bongos have the patented “Bongolows”, but you are going to have to look harder to find the aero-top versions, as they are taken off the UK dealer lots as soon as they are put on. In fact the local Mazda Bongo dealer UK has been having such a hard time keeping up with the demand, that it is not uncommon for other non camper editions to be converted over to the kitchenette Bongo variety.

Getting around will definitely not be a problem with either the 2 wheel drive (SGL3) or w4 wheel drive (SGL5) versions with the 2.5 turbo diesel engine; which in all cases are outstandingly powerful and reliable engines by anyone’s standards. Featuring Aircon (climate control), electric blinds, and all the other trimmimgs you would expect out of a luxury Japanese vehicle. There are a few gasoline V-6 versions available, and by all accounts are very highly recommended as well. Do not feel haste with either variety, as neither will do you wrong.

On kind of a cool side note: Did you know that a first generation Mazda Bongo was used in the movie Mad Max (it was actually the personal vehicle of director George Miller); who sacrificed his own van to a crash scene in order to keep with his tight budget. The next time you run across a Bongo you probably will never see that cute little transporter the same way again. I personally would have rather seen it super-charged, with giant machine guns mounted on both sides of the doors; but then again there is always that chance in a remake!

In the aftermarket sector you will find a number of performance parts for Mazda sport cars. Mazda car parts have been predominantly sold from your local dealer, but today Mazda performance parts run rampant on the Internet. The most popular you will find are Mazda Miata parts of course.

If you are not particularly interested in performance then the best place to go to upgrade your Miata is at your local Mazda Miata parts dealer. They have a nice selection of upgrades (mostly for the exterior) that will be guaranteed to fit, and you can even schedule a time to have them professionally installed if you are not much of an armchair mechanic. You can actually go online these days and find the exact Mazda Miata part you are looking for and bring in the number for the dealer to find what you are looking for quickly and easily.

There is a bit of following for performance parts for Mazda Miata cars, but be forewarned that these engines were not designed to be heavy performers, so do not expect to great of gains from these modifications. If you are really looking to improve the performance of your Mazda Miata to that of the Mazda RX-7 then you are going to have to take it to a speed shop where it can be assessed for major engine modification that I can’t lie to you is going to be very expensive.

If true performance is what you are after, then it might be time to sell that Miata in exchange for a Mazda RX7. Mazda RX-7 parts are more suited for the performance enthusiast. When you walk into a speed shop and ask about the RX-7 you will be pointed out to a number of Mazda RX7 parts that resemble the performance engines of the European giants, rather than the typical exhaust tips and chrome wheels that are most popularly sold for the Miata. To sum things up on this subject; Mazda RX7 performance parts are more along for the tuning of a performance oriented engine. Mazda Protégé parts, as well as most Mazda 626 parts, your occasion searcher for a Mazda Tribute performance part, and the above mentioned Mazda Miata line are primarily for the typical non enthusiast.

Mazda auto parts do not all have to be performance oriented towards the exterior or engine of course. There is a lot of call today for Mazda truck parts. These tend to also focus on exterior styling, but they are also designed for better traction and trail riding. You have to remember that the typical Mazda truck has been predominantly engineered for the street, so if any amount of mountain driving is in your plans you are going to want to do a few modifications to boost your enjoyment on those trails. At the very least it will decrease the likelihood of becoming stuck within a rocky terrain due to a lack of height in your stock ground to chassis ratio.

With the careful planning of aftermarket parts for your Mazda you will be able to better enjoy your drive as well as personalize it to your own persona.

Today we celebrate Mazda Tribute Canada, which is basically the realization of the dream Mazda had for Canada that has over the last several years really taken shape into what we know today as Mazda Canada. But what exactly is Mazda Canada?

Well, of course besides the obvious fact that they are Mazda vehicles design specifically for the Canadian market? It really does make one wonder what exactly characterizes what a Canadian Mazda should be. Not much in fact, to be pretty darn honest. Mazda Canada accessories are quite similar to that of anywhere else. They maybe perhaps slightly less geared towards performance and the need for crazy electronic gadgets, as the Canadian market is still pursuing the idea of economy and reliability more so than sport and performance. But everywhere you find Mazda you will definitely find sexy, as the overall look of the vehicle is hard to deny its importance no matter whom you are or where you live.

On the specific end of differences you might find within Mazda Canada, I have heard that the Mazda MX3 body kits in Canada are a bit more difficult to come by than in other areas, but that is definitely no cause for alarm; especially when you not only have Mazda Canada online at your disposal but also Mazda US online. The Internet has opened all worlds of Mazda to each other, and any customer has the option to purchase parts from many different regions.

It was the faithful year of 1968 that Mazda Canada introduced its first car to Canada. Today Mazda Canada supports about 150 independently owned dealers with sales, marketing, customer service, and of course a well stocked parts department. As always, at the main heart of Mazda lies the philosophy that human thoughts, feelings, and emotions should always be a part of the engineering process. Once a car is made, it is almost guaranteed to find a satisfied customer out of its 69,000 Canadian drivers of Mazda.

Mazda 3 used car sales are currently at an all time high. Due to partially the reduced price from the initial new car price tag, but also to the increased popularity among the young business savvy crowd in much of the cities and developed urban towns. But of course considering the previously mentioned desire for sexy that all markets of Mazda tend to focus on, it is not hard to understand why sales of the Mazda 3 are up just about everywhere that they are marketed aggressively.

A lot of online forums for Canada recommend to buy Mazda RX-7 Canada, as these classics are still readily available, and are actually quite reasonable in price compared to the number of features you get that are similar to today’s newer cars. I guess we could also celebrate this as used Mazda Tribute Canada. But, as we pay homage to this great team of Canadian business leaders, we also have to pay our due respects to Mazda for making it all happen… amen!

The Mazda 323 was a subcompact car produced by Mazda between 1976 and 2003. In the United States it was originally known as the GLC and finally in 1990 it became the classic Protégé.

Interestingly, the American 323/Protege was more cost effective to purchase than its competition; such as the Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, and Daewoo. A top 10 recommendation among most US car magazines, the Protégé is widely known for not only its spirited handling, but also its reliability.

The 80’s saw the Protégé as Wheels magazine’s Car of the year, but the best was only to come. The 1994 Mazda Protégé was the last year before the rare yet ultra cool ES model was introduced. If a 1996 Mazda Protégé is what you are after then the ES is an absolute must for you; there is no if’s, and’s, or butt’s about it. Complete with the sporty quick high revving Miata motor, the ES is the only model that actually came equipped with this engine; so be patient and hold out for one of these. Trust me; you’ll be glad that you did.

For the 1997 Mazda Protégé I would still give you the same advice, but once the 1999 Mazda Protégé was released the ES Miata engine was dropped and performance became quite drab. The 2000 Mazda Protégé is also a no-go as far as I am concerned, but beginning around this period you will find a host of Mazda Protégé parts of the performance variety. Such as a Mazda Protégé air intake good for five to ten horsepower. Using the proper aftermarket Mazda Protégé parts it would be possible to add in the upwards of 25 to 30 horsepower without too much alteration. Mazda Protégé performance parts can also be found at some dealership outlets as well. Your Mazda Protégé performance has its limits; so there will be a point where you will have to settle.

For the 2001 model year, introductions fell to the limited-edition Mazda Protégé MP3 featuring a new sport-tuned suspension, 17 in wheels, and 140 horsepower; a 450-watt Kenwood MP3 stereo, and a sportier front end. A few years later Mazda introduced a new Protégé, which according to its 2002 Mazda Protégé 5 brochure has not only more performance and road capability but also matches its performance with a deeper rumbling engine.

The 2003 Mazda Protégé 5 hatchback is one of Mazda’s best selling models, and continues to be today. Everywhere I go I see one of these, with a grinning driver singing “zoom-zoom” all the way to the grocery store. Well, perhaps that was all just a dream but either way the Protégé drives like a dream, and just may make your day a little brighter! With a vehicle that has been claimed by various Internet sources to be one of the greatest models that Mazda has ever made. I would say that this should make your entire year is look a whole lot brighter; especially since you will probably rarely find yourself in a dark, dismal car mechanic shop. Of course you are there to pick up a non-Mazda Protégé driving friend. Happy driving to you… Zoom Zoom!

Debuting in 1979, the Mazda 626 had a long life of ups and downs. In 1986, the GT model also known as the “turbo” was released. Mazda 626 1986 troubleshooting for that year proved rather difficult with the new engine design, but was easily cured the next year. For Mazda no fuel usually meant a bad fuel pump relay, but the 1989 626 Mazda fuel pump relay was the most troublesome of the years. But chances are if you are looking at that model today it has most assuredly been replaced.

Mazda 626 repair has always generally been pretty straight forward and simple to diagnose. Mazda 626 is easy to come by in the aftermarket sectors. The Mazda 626 Transmission is almost as sturdy as the engine itself, but the automatic transmission of the early eighties could often stand to receive a little attention to keep them running smooth.

The worst transmission problem to be aware of is when your 1993 Mazda 626 shifts hard, especially if you have a four cylinder which would reference your transmission to Fords problem prone transmissions that were used in these. The best Mazda 626 transmission fix is to swap this transmission out for a later one found in a salvage yard, as this transmission is not worthy of being rebuilt.

The next generation of Mazda in 1993, was besides prone for transmission problems, a rather sporty and feeling vehicle compared to the old. To read the 1993 Mazda 626 specifications, you would not think much of its performance numbers. A 118 hp 2.0 liter four-cylinder and 164 hp 2.5 liter V-6 Mazda 626 engine headlined the line-up, but in comparison to the 626’s of the past these woke things up in the driver’s seat quite a bit. In 1994 Mazda 626 seat is often torn due to the fabric used this year, but the foam is usually in good shape, and can be easily recovered by a professional for a reasonable fee.

The 2000 Mazda 626 lx is about as good as you could get this year, as the rest of the 626 line-up was rather drab in both performance and looks. Of course a Mazda 626 body kit could wake things up in the looks department for these years quite a bit, the list for 2000 Mazda 626 after market parts is not quite as long as it probably should be to get you up and going along with today’s newer vehicles of comparable stature. The 2000 Mazda 626 strut replacement is about the best performance upgrade available. The 2000 626 had very poor handling due to weak suspension tuning, but the strut replacement will get you back up to speck at also a rather reasonable fee.

In general the older Mazda 626 vehicles are reliable vehicles if you pay close attention to the few models I have warned you about. But no matter where you stand, you can find relief in the fact that Mazda parts are not incredibly expensive, and with an overall simple design many armchair mechanics will find it easy to do a lot of repair work on their own.

The Mazda Tribute is a small crossover SUV based on the Mazda 626. The Tribute debuted in 2001, offering both front and all-wheel drive. The 2001 Mazda Tribute gear ratio offered crisp off the line response that would satisfy even the staunchest of performance guru. Of course the Mazda Tribute tuning performance it received at the factory helps out a lot with those of the line pulls; but you wouldn’t know it with its smooth driving capabilities and quiet ride. Looking over the Mazda Tribute gallery of available styles and colors I am quite impressed with all the options. One especially nice feature, albeit rather small is the Mazda Tribute bumper panel insert which gives the tribute its smooth sporty appearance above the other cross-over SUV’s in its class.

The Mazda Tribute review for all years has been of a rather positive feedback session; and best of all there are really no Mazda Tribute problems of the mechanical or aesthetic kind out of its five years of existence. You would actually think that will such a new concept there would at least be a few bugs in the works to need to iron out; but it looks like Mazda got this one perfected right off the assembly line.

Today with its slew of Mazda Tribute accessories and Mazda Tribute parts; this Mazda has become quite the sleeper on the late night drag sessions on Saturday nights. Rarely have I seen a Mazda Tribute used without the tell tale signs of feathering from occasional burnouts on the open asphalt. But who can blame these folks; after all this is a “sport” SUV, and the sport is not only referring to its looks, but also its performance.

Even if you only opt for the base line Mazda Tribute DX, such as the 2003 Mazda Tribute DX you still get the standard remote key entry (Mazda Tribute codes are alterable by your individual dealer), air conditioning, center console, and electronic mirrors. If there is one Mazda Tribute performance part worth looking into it would be the driving gloves, because actually this car comes so equipped it will be you who needs the upgrades to prepare yourself for this ride. On top of these great basic features you also have available to you as options, the 3.0 liter V-6 capable of 201 horsepower and a 4-wheel independent suspension that is guaranteed to really tighten things up around those corners.

The 2006 Mazda Tribute has been refreshed for the new year, but the big date to remember will be the new Mazda Tribute hybrid that will surface in 2007. The new hybrid has been said to be similar to the already released Ford Escape and Mercury hybrids; but built within a much more suitable chassis if you ask this reviewers opinion. The Mazda Tribute is a beautifully engineered sport SUV no matter which way you look at it, but my favorite view would be looking out from the inside, while seated in the drivers’ seat with both fists clenched around the steering wheel. Just waiting for the light to turn green!

Welcome to Mazda motors USA, home of where the Mazda MX5 USA roam and the RX2’s and RX7’s play! Mazda Motors USA is a great place to live, and your car choices and features are not too shabby either!

The best way to get to know Mazda cars USA is to visit their website, MazdaUSA.com. On the site Mazda USA homepage, you will notice that there are currently a rather large number of big sellers being manufactured. Like the Mazda 3, 5, 6, SPEED, RX-8, MPV, CX-7, Tribute, and B Series Truck.
With such a popular following all around the world one really has to wonder exactly what it is that makes up a Mazda USA car? Is it in its sports appeal? YES. Is it in its high performance? YES. Is it in its tried and true sensibility and reliability? OF COURSE! Is it the wide variety of vehicles ranging from the off-road, track, and family tourers? Yes, yes… and yes! Mazda has definitely made a comfortable home for itself in the American market, and is not planning on going anywhere soon.

The only car that I do not see in the line-up is a used Mazda MX5 USA. But if you are looking for the all new 2006 MX-5 then you are on the right track; just click on the “Build your own vehicle” section of the website, and build away to your dreams and hearts content. The RX-2 for sale in the USA that was heavily advertised in the past has been replaced today with the all new RX-8, but I am sure that you will not miss it once you take a look around its available features and specifications.

There are several incentives that are going on for Mazda these days as well that make the thought of putting one into your driveway al the more desirable. Many of the brand new 2006 models can be leased well within the low $200’s a month, and there are a number of customer cash back incentives as well. You will have to visit your local dealership to see what the exact offers are for your area, but I would hurry fast; you’ll want to get in there before all the choice buys are taken!

While you are on the site, might I advise going through the history of Mazda. I was surprised to find that Mazda has been around since the 1920’s and 30’s; but of course it was not actually not until the 1960’s that the production of four-wheeled vehicles became a standard practice Mazda. Before hand Mazda had been a tiny cork manufacturer. Just as many of the other leading companies who have initiated with humbled beginnings, Mazda takes pride in its heritage and proudly pays homage to it in this featured section.

And last but certainly not least, please do not forget to drop by Mazda’s official accessory store, as this is where the fun really should begin. Once your car has been built and you can see your new vehicle in clear view, it is time to accessorize with a few items of personal customization. After all with a car that is so popular in the USA right now, it pays to not only be within the crowd that has figured out a good deal when they see it. But it also stand out away from the crowd with a creation of Mazda that has both your personality and style written all over it. Enjoy Mazda USA!

I you are itching to pursue the new car test drive: Mazda CX-7 challenge, or take an older Mazda car from a used lot out on a spin you are going to need to understand the history of Mazda to properly prepare yourself. The first thing you need to know about Mazda used cars, is that their greatest asset is reliability, economy, and price. These cars were not built to be sporty in those eras as they were more for the economy market. Of course today’s Mazda new cars can be rather sporty indeed compared to the used Mazda cars of yesterday. A lot of transformation has occurred in the Mazda market over the years and the sorts of drivers that look to Mazda are a bit more performance prone than they once were.

Now of course while Mazda sports cars are reasonably popular everywhere you go, for Mazda cars UK; you will still find a strong market for economy even more so than sport and performance. The Mazda new car price UK is often looked on as being more lavishly expensive than the US customer see it; so that is often one of the greatest reasons for the weaning interest of the sport models in the UK. But if you like to really look towards the future of high performance you are going to need an airplane ticket to Japan to get your fill.

Mazda concept cars are unveiled every year on showroom floors and often times depict models that the US will unfortunately never see. Of course the thought of car shipping Japan Mazda might be on your mind, and if it is, and taxes and boat shipping costs do not scare you off; then you just might be in for a real treat. Japanese Mazda sport vehicles are traditionally more performance oriented, than they bring over towards the US to market.

About the best thing you are going to find in the US from Mazda Japan is the Mazda RX8 car. But before I get too far ahead of myself, let’s talk a little more about the RX-8 in general. The Mazda RX8’s power originates from its Renesis rotary engine which is capable of up to 250 horsepower in stock form. The Renesis is a beautiful designed engine that offers high revving reliability; and when I say high revving I am talking upwards of 8,000 rpm. The Mazda RX8 I guess could be said to not be for the faint of heart, nor lead of foot.

In general you can find a Mazda car to fit just about anyone’s desire; but you do have to be aware of the changes that occurred over the different generations of Mazda. Mazda has transitioned to an all new era of sport and luxury from what was once economy. So look to your functionality that you expect out of your Mazda and then decide if you will be visiting either the dealership showrooms, or the used car lots…

One of the best cross over SUV vehicles you can drive for under $209.0/day. The Mazda CX-7 is sure to fit your SUV all terrain needs of the urban byways as well as your family toting necessities to boot. But what exactly is the CX-7 like to drive; let’s find out as we open- test drive: Mazda CX-7. Mazda CX-7 testing would be thought to be done on the family front rather on the performance track, as of course this is exactly what a crossover SUV is engineered to satisfy for its customer. But in this one case the Mazda CX-7 reviews will have to make an exception, as the CX-7 is rather somewhat of an all-terrain performance vehicle. The Mazda CX-7 review of itself uses the term “soul of a sports car” to describe the feel that the CX-7 was meant to deliver.

New car test drive: Mazda CX-7
Most all Mazda CX-7 reviews show that the majority o customers of the CX-7 are reasonably happy with their choice and would do very little to alter the overall design. But let’s look over the new car review. If we take the time to scan over the internet forums: Mazda CX-7; we find similar reviews on the premier of this new type of family road burner. But what lies under the hood that truly sets this vehicle apart from all the other crossovers on the road.

Mazda CX-7 specification
The Mazda CX-7 is powered by a turbocharged 2.3 liter intercooled four cylinder that knows how to lay down the rubber if properly coerced. But if you gather the knowledge that the CX-7 shares the power train with that of the Mazdaspeed6; it is easy to understand the key ingredients that give the CX-7 its balance of ample power with overall environmental performance.

Road test: Mazda CX-7
On the road the turbo 2.3 liter proves to be rather smooth and quiet. To the surprise of most turbo enthusiasts the CX-7’s turbo engineered design eliminates much of the turbo lag associated with most turbo vehicles and instead transfers a rather smooth power curve throughout the rpm spectrum. Road noise is kept to a minimum with well designed body panels, and the 240 watt stereo probably helps with that a little also. The 2007 Mazda CX-7 review state that if urban/city driving is your main area of adventure, the CX-7 will conquer almost anything the weather has to offer, and leaves a little room for those weekend mountain excursions too!

2007 Mazda CX-7 touring review
The 2007 Mazda CX-7 is a beautiful touring car as well. Traveling long distances in the CX-7 is quite comfortable with its room interior and plush seating. The rear seats are both designed for children and adults, and you can drive any road without the unpleasant complaining from either. On a recent Mazda CX-7 update, we find that the all new Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry and Start System will allow the unlocking of the CX-7’s doors as well as the starting and stopping of the engine without even removing the key from your pocket; now this is something that I will have to see for myself to believe.
